Hot Stone Massage (60/90 minute):
Hot stone massage therapy melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. Each hot stone massage therapy session promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, water-heated stones at key points on the body.
Reflexology: A focused pressure technique, directed at the feet or hands. It is based on the premise that there are zones and reflexes on different parts of the body which correspond to and are relative to all parts, glands and organs. The benefits of Reflexology are relaxation with the removal of stress.
Pre-natal Massage: This addresses the special needs of pregnant women such as swollen/painful hands and feet, stress on weight bearing joints, preparation of muscles and the cardio system for labor & delivery, scar tissue, exhaustion and emotional changes, discomforts in the hips, lower back, feet, and legs. This form of massage usually consists mainly of Swedish Massage techniques that are modified slightly to take into account the common aches and pains of pregnancy. Positioning of the client is also modified as the pregnancy progresses and the abdomen enlarges. Prenatal massage MUST BE performed after the first trimester.
